ABOUT SARAH
Creative Director & Solo Stylist
With a passion for people, hair and creativity, Sarah has over 30 years professional, international experience in hairdressing. After completing a hairdressing apprenticeship in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Sarah headed overseas to Vancouver (Canada) for her first international hairdressing experience. From Vancouver she travelled to London (UK) where she attended a world renowned Vidal Sassoon training course. Following her training and another year working as a senior hairstylist back in South Africa, Sarah returned to London and established herself as an exceptional stylist in the hub of one of the top fashion capitals of the world. Having worked in traditional multi-stylist salons in London for a few years, Sarah launched her own independent hairdressing business that she ran successfully for 5 years.
But, as life can sometimes just magically “happen”, Sarah followed her heart to New Zealand. In 2009, she opened what she wittily calls her salon-ette from her home in Saltaire Street, Avondale, Auckland, where she is the Creative Director and Solo Stylist. Meaning – you get her undivided care and attention!
